Also, just in case you don't already, make sure that you pronounce french words with shorter sounding vowels. In english we tend to add a sort of "w" sound after an "oh" or "oo" sound. But in french, the vowels are flat, and the sound doesn't vary at all when pronouncing a vowel.

"faux" is like "foe"
