How to pronounce the last name "Letendre"? It sounds french.

  1. French canadian... I have this name in my research, from Quebec. You probably are related to my daughters.

    the persons in here are my line... there also are branches in the US.  If you track your family back, it will help insure knowing your own line. Of course, you didn't say it is your family name.

    All of the Rs are a bit soft except for dRuer, which is pronounced with a bit of a K... like, say kuh kuh kuh kuh and then say er er er er er and sort of softly close your throat where you pronounced your K's. It's a weird french thing to explain.

    The only reason I put the other R's in there is because the E's sort of have this weird soft R sound in them. If it's easier, Luh-tawn-dkruh would work pretty well too.
