I have a freind his name is Imtiaz... how would you pronounce it? i just dont want to make a fool of myself

I would think it sounded like In- with an mmmm sound instead of the "n" and Tiaz  would sound like Diaz as in Cameron Diaz.  It's a hindu name in origin...
