Hey, i'm trying to adjust my 4 channel Eclipse EA4000 amp to my car speakers, it puts out 75 watts per channel RMS at 4 ohms. My front speakrs are a Diamond Audio component set that can handle way more power, and my rear speakers are just some JVC 6x9s im using for rear fill that I think can handle about 60 watts rms or so. How should I go about adjusting the amp so it sounds good without clipping? It has 2 sets of 4 adjustment k***s each, one set for the fronts, the other for the rears. They say "Low pass 100" on the first and it goes between 50-500 Hz, The second says "Hi Pass", and it goes between 30-500 Hz, the third says "Bass Boost" and goes between 0-8 Db, and the other is "Input" and goes from 8-0.2 V. I can also adjust them to Hi or Low pass, im assuming I need Hi, right? I just want to have it sound good, and bass is not really needed through my speakers since I have a set of 12" Kicker cvrs, right? Or should there still be at least some? I just really need help tuning my amp to the right specs without destroying my whole audio system in the process. Sorry for the long read, and all help is very much appreciated.
