How to properly clean a music cd?

Just burned music and noticed a few dust in the back of the cd so I blew it, but ended up spitting on it by accident, then I clean it with my shirt and now there are smudges. wtf? I just want something that is simple, fast, and safe. And no, I am not going to buy a cd cleaner, you are only suppose to use it on old cds. If you use it on one that you just burned then it can mess it up.

Micro-fiber cleaning cloth

Compact disc

How to Properly Clean a Compact Disc

Step1 Add moisture to the CD. Hold the CD up near your mouth and slowly blow hot air over the bottom of it for several seconds until moisture has condensed.

Step2 Clean the compact disc. Using the micro-fiber cleaning cloth, slowly and lightly clean the CD in small and revolving circular motions.

Step3 Repeat this process until the CD is clean. You may want to repeat this several times until your compact disc is clean.

Step4 Test the CD. Place the compact disc into the player and make sure that it is easily read, and your CD is clean.
