How to propose on holiday?

going to protaras in cyprus this wednesday .got the ring all i need is my girlfriend to say YES listen girls how can i do this ,will i take her out to dinner,you know the stuff how will i do it ?anywhere nice in protaras help please ps dont know if i spelled the resort correctly

my fiance proposed to me in protaras in may this year lol

we were in our hotel room, he had a shower and wrote it in the mirror, leaving me to find it myself, the timing etc turned out perfectly.

Fig Tree Bay is beautiful, take her for a walk along the beach on your way home from dinner and just take a deep breath and do it!

wanna hear the way i would want it? i think she would love it or you can ask a friend of hers... the way i would want it is for my boyfriend to take a whole day off and spend it with me. I want him to take me to breakfast in the morning then go to the beach right after. Rent a hotel that outlooks   the shore. Have an amazing time there..then go out and walk down the beach. Then I would want him to put rose peddles all around the bed and the floor and leading all the way to the beach....(to show me where to go) but make sure she's no where close to the hotel when this happens. Do this at night. Put a letter on the bed with a beautiful writing telling her to follow the petals. She will follow the petals then when shes close to the shore she will see bunch of candles and a huge blanket. And maybe few of the hawaiin laps that you can light up...you know the tall cool looking ones. and put a huge blanked and around it with beautiful candles different sizes. Oh and make sure the petals are all the way to the blanket. have a cook from the restaurant bring you champagne, strawberries with melted chocolate and ask your friend to take pix or video tape the whole thing...to keep it as a beautiful memory. and make sure she doesn't know he is video taping or taking pix. Then go on one knee and pop out the ring and tell her how much you love her and what she means to you and what your life will be without her. And then ask her to be your wife.

I'm sorry I over did it =\ but I just think this is a really cute idea and she will like it. I know I would love it!

I asked my then girlfriend (now wife) to marry me on holiday. I worked out what time the sunset would happen and suggested a nice walk along the beach around that time, before we went to have a meal. Then as the sun started to set on a lovely beach i went down on one knee and popped the question, she said yes and then we walked to the restaurant for a nice meal then a few drinks.

I would advise doing the question first then the meal because she will be so happy for the rest of the night, ringing all her family and friends with the biggest grin you have ever seen on her face.

WILL NOT FAIL TO IMPRESS

She will brag about that story for years to come just like my wife

By the sea, by the sunset, with the sound of your waves. taking a stroll by the beach. Actually all the above are details. you can never plan too perfectly for every detail, every word. Situations or change in plan might arise. However, where ever you may be, most importantly is to hold her hands, look into her eyes (and i really do mean into her eyes, not her hair, not her brows, not her any where else but her eyes) Tell her the 3 most important words. If you really want it and are sincere about it, she will be able to sense it. Just don't forget the eyes part, its the most important. =)

My fiance put the ring on my pillow and I found it when we went to bed. I love the idea of putting the ring on her finger while she sleeps though! I would have died on the spot if he did! :-)

Go for a walk along an empty beach at night with a gentle breeze and just talk. then stop and turn so you are facing her and then tell her how much you love her and how you never expected to find someone as special as her etc etc . and then get down on one knee right in front of her and say (her name) will you marry me / will you do me the honour of becoming my wife / will you become mrs and then your last name.

Go on some sort of helicopter, plane , hot air balloon ride or if your hotel is right on the beach and have in the sand written.... what ever her name is say   "Sarah"...Sarah will you marry me? Love Michael. its cute but I do love the extreme proposal rose petal blanket note thing the other girl wrote fantastic if you could pull that off do it its like out of a movie the best thing ever.   My husband proposed in australia on hayman island we had just eaten about to walk along the beach and we past one of those kids candy machine where you put a dollar in and get this little egg thing that opens and it has like a toy and some bubble gum except mine had an engagement ring...very romantic you could try that.

You could go to a nice resturant and talk to the waiter you have and order some type of dessert and put the ring like over the cherrie and be like oh look there is something on that cherrie and lift it up and then get down on one knee while holding the cherrie. Just a thought I had lol!
