How to protect the cd content?

I got some cd softwares but unfortunate someone got a copy of it and reproduced it. How could I prevent that in the near future. I learned that some CDs are write protected like that of the original movie dvd. Please help me how to utilize this and where to get this particular software. Thank a lot.

SecurRom could be what you are looking for, it encodes the disc, so only the original can be read from.
