My new apt has veeeery old wood floors that were just waxed before I moved in. Things like my office chair or portable tables are tearing up or shearing the wax but doesn't look like they are damaging the wood. Is there something I can do to protect the protective wax? Or is this just the way the wax works?

  1. carpet =]

  2. Get felt glides to put under the furniture. If your chair has wheels, use an office floor protector or rug under it.
