Im talking about on the ground. Im very athletic and have very good leg strength, so i know im physically capable of it. But where do I start? Is it just a matter of getting up the guts? I have a trampoline. I saw someone do it recently and it seemed to have a lot in the tucking motion.

  1. Haha, you're right; probably all in the guts to do it. I could never do something like that.

You are on the right road. Just watch someone else do it, and try to copy them. A trampoline sounds like a safe place to try it out

  2. Start off practicing on the trampoline by bending and grabbing your knees as you flip over.  Gradually do it with less and less bounce until you can do it easily without jumping at all.

  3. Okay, I'm assuming you're doing this on a trampoline. First of all it's a back tuck, not flip. Because in some countries a  back flip is known as a back handspring. Anyway, you should start off jumping as high as you can. Swing your arms in big circles to pick up height going down as you touch the trampoline and up at your highest point. When you're at your highest point look straight forward do not throw your head back. Swing your arms up and tuck your legs, you'll probably go back. It's hard to describe the way you flip, but you'll know. Just never ever give out in the middle, if you do don't put your hands first or you could hear a nasty snap.
