  1. Go-Karting is pretty much the standard route of entry into racing for most young people... Buy him a kart and find a track or school where he can learn his racecraft and hopefully get noticed

  2. Both Alonso and Schumacher started off in karting, so get him involved with that. Michael Schumacher's son recently started in karting too.

I would imagine there is a karting track in Delhi, so make some inquires as to when the races are on and go along to watch.

  3. Most Drivers start at Karting level, so get him to the local ring and let him practise...

Most Drivers use the following system in England to get to F1 level...

    Karting

    Open seat Racing

    Formula Ford/Renault

    Formula 3000

    Formula 3

    Formula 3 international

    GP 2 / A1 / Indy 500

    Formula 1

  4. He's a little bit old to start racing plud he may not be very good at it. It's a fantasy most boys have...go build him a go cart instead.

  5. Yes the person above gave good advice.

Let him start go-karting. Thats how all the greats began

  6. Seriously speaking, No future for Indians in F1, better go for Cricket or Kabadi haha

And u know what , your son should have started 5 yrs back. TOO LATE!!

  7. He's not too old many racers started at 12 but do it now, buy him a kart. Drivers can start as soon as 8 y old but 12 is still ok as long as he starts right now. If he's good he'll draw some attention.
