I have just put xm radio on my computer--but I need to put on the desk top (if possible) so i can just click it on when I want to listen to it. Can anyone out there tell me (simply) how to get XM radio on to my desk top. I have to go to the search in google to get it on even tho I am signed up for it. Is there an easy way to put it on the desk top?

  1. What is XM radio

    and what does it do???

  2. Maybe I don't understand your question. I have XM on and off-line. The online XM is just a section of their web site.

    So you haven't "put XM on your computer," you've registered which opened a section of the site you couldn't get before.

    So start with your browser (probably Internet Explorer or your Mac browser). The music player is web-based, so go to:

    www.xmradio.com;

    click on "listen now;"

    THEN, go to "favorites" on the toolbar of your browser and add to your favorites list (so you'll have quick access next time);

    then sign in and enjoy.

    Next time just open your browser, go to favorites and click XM Online. No need to search your desktop with Google anymore - but it's a good backup if you're not comfortable with these instructions. In fact you can set up your browser to always open to XM as your "home page." Once you get to the sign-on screen at XM, just go to TOOLS > Internet Options > HOME > "use current."

  3. Create a new shortcut on your desktop and list this url:

    http://xmro.xmradio.com/xstream/index.js...
