A live streaming webcam is a webcam that broadcasts a continuous video stream with both audio and video. It is just like television. You can see and hear a video broadcast from any page on your website. You will need two things to make your dream of broadcasting come true.

How are your images going to get to your viewers? There are basically 3 choices. We are going to use the third option. Although this is the most difficult option to configure it provides the best quality webcam image by far.



Use a webcam service such as Yahoo, MSN or AOL. This is the simplest system for the beginner. However, this method requires the other person to install the same service in order to see your camera and usually gives the poorest image quality. There are also a number of pay webcam services but I don't have any experience with them so they won't be covered here.....
