How to Get a Background on YouTube

1 Go on YouTube.com.

2 Log in or create an account.

3 Go to Google

4 Click on "Images".

5 Type in the url leading to the picture you want.

6 Click on the picture so it enlarges.

7 Right click and hit "Copy".

8 Paste into Youtube.

9 Click "Update your Channel."

10 There you go!

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyrics/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

4. Click "Account"

5. Click "Channel Design"

6. Scroll down until you see "Advanced Design Customization"

7. Where you see "Background Image:" paste the URL to the picture in there.

8. Scroll to the bottom and click update channel

First you have to find a Url of the picture you want for the background(make sure its a big size if you want it cover the page nicley.

Then go to your channel, click "edit channel at the top(logged in of coarse!) And go to "Channel Design" the blue links at the left. Scroll down to "Background Url" and paste the url in the tan box. If you want it to repeat just click "repeat picture" or choose "Don't repeat" if you don't. Sometimes the preview will look diffrent then how it really shows up. Make sure to visit your page and see if you like it! oh and also remember to save before XD

Go to "My Account" then "Channel Design" then on that page scroll down to Advanced Design Customization, then enter the URL in the Background Image box.  This will put a picture in the background and you can decide how you want it displayed.

If you want a picture for your profile picture you have to go to "My Account" then Personal Profile, then click "choose an image" and you can add a picture from your computer.
