  1. Take  these questions to the toy section please.

  2. here are the steps to install an aircraft into FS2002

1: extract the files within the compressed folder onto a temporary location on your hard drive.

    2. put the folder with the aircraft name into your FS2002/Aircraft folder.

    3. if necessary, unzip any folders marked "guages" or "effects" and place all files into either FS2002/effects OR FS2002/Guages"

    4. (optional) if you are installing just textures, put the textures folder into the aircraft folder of your choice then edit the aircraft.cfg file of that particular plane to include the new textures for the plane.. the lines to be added should be included in the files texture's read me file

    5. if you have done the above steps correctly, fire up FS2002, and you should see your new aircraft within the "select Aircraft" Window

note that i do not have FS 2002, but the steps are nearly the same with all versions of Flight Simulator.

  3. You must put the aircraft folder into the aircraft folder. Similarly for the effects and gauges.  And try installing only FS2002 files. Don't try FS2004/FSX aircraft as they just won't work due to compatibility issues.

And see that you are installing an aircraft with the model and all. If you try installing textures, they wont work.

  4. http://simviation.com/ has alot of good planes for 2002 and tells you how to get em
