This is a very simple process.

First, you need an iTunes Store account. This is easy to set up and only takes a few minutes, but you will need an internet connection. To get to the iTunes Store, click on the iTunes Store tab at the left hand side of the screen on iTunes.

Next, whilst logged into your iTunes Store account, click on 'Advanced' at the top of the screen and then click 'Get Album Artwork'. iTunes will then find artwork for all the song names you have entered correctly, (i.e. correct spellings, correct names etc).

With an iTunes Store account, you can also buy songs for about 50p/$1 and when you put a CD into the computer you can click 'Get CD Track Names' under the 'Advanced' tabs and iTunes will fill in all the track names for you automatically.

To get the artwork on your iPhone, all you need to do is sync your iPhone with your PC after getting the artwork. To do this, just go 'File', then 'Sync iPod' on iTunes, if it doesn't sync automatically.

If you can't get an internet connection, you need to go to a library or somewhere that does. Search Google Images for the album artwork you're looking for, and save it all to a disk. When you get back home, put the disk in your PC, and right-click on the song you have artwork for, and select 'Get Info'. Click on the 'Artwork' tab, and press 'Add'. Locate the artwork on the disk and press OK. However, I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have a lot of spare time, as it is a very long process and you have to add the artwork to each individual song, one at a time.

Lastly, if you don't have a credit card to make an iTunes Store account, find a friend that already has one and ask if they would login on your PC just so you can get the artwork. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, as it doesn't affect them and doesn't cost them a thing.

When you open your itunes there is a tab at the top that says Advanced. Click it and then click 'get album artwork'. If that does not work then try this:

1. go to itunes library on computer

2. right click on the song to which you want artwork for

3.click Get Info

4. Click the tab at the top that says Artwork

5. Go online and find the cover of the album you want

6. copy the picture and then paste it in the box back in your itunes

Use iTUNES.

make sure all the music is in itunes then from the ADVANCED menu select "Get Missing Artwork"

This is FREE but to do this you need and internet connection and you must be registered and logged into the itunes store and your computer authorised  (under the store menu select 'authorise this computer').

if not you have to select each album (as a group multi select using shift) then "get INfo" then past the selected artwork into the artwork box.
