How to put dvd movies on an Ipod Itouch.?

Question

I have a collection of movies that I purchased already on dvd and I was wondering if I was able to put movies on the Itouch without rebuying the movie.

I'm hoping if you can do it that there isn't any difficult transitions that need to be made in order to do this.

iPod only accepts MP4 video format, and if you want get the movies from a DVD, you need a DVD Converter software.
