How to put dvd picture slide to itunes to be watch on ipod

hey guys...i just made a dvd with many pictures slides in it..i used iDvd to make the dvd and it looks great...now my problem is how can i transfer it to itunes so that i can watch it on my ipod?? remember it's not just some ordinary video it's composed of picture slide shows....
