How to put i Tune songs on my Sanso MP3 player?

I just purchased a SanDisk Sanso Mp3 player and I don't know how to add the songs I downloaded on iTunes to my player. It says something about windows media player but I have no songs on that. Can you add i tune songs to windows? Gr, I'm so confused!!! Thanks!

uhh if you have itunes you have to use an ipod

and if you have windows media you have to use an mp3
