How to put notes into ipod classic

Question

how do u put "large file" notes in one document into an ipod classic? (i was trying to put a novel into it :)

does it have to be a notepad document?

When you sync your iPod, you then click on "Enable Disk Use". Then disconnect your iPod and then connect it again. Then go to My Computer and then your iPod and then go to Notes. Then copy that file into the Notes folder. Then sync your iPod. Hope that works!
