How to put on a wilson overgrip??

ok so i just got a pink wilson overgrip from tennis warehouse and i don't know how to put it on.....it comes with a plastic cover on one side and that side has the groves on it the other side has nothing on it..not plastic cover or groves.....so what side do i put down.......in other words.....how do i put on a overgrip

  1. Peel off the plastic side and that should be the side your hand touches. When wrapping, overlap a little bit. If you're right handed, you should be wrapping the grip with the racquet turning clockwise and vice versa if you're left-handed.When you're at the top, cut off the excess and tape it off with the Wilson finishing tape.


  2. start at the bottom and follow the lip at the bottom of the grip around the handle,peeling back the plastic as you go.Use the grooved side on the outside.Finish at the top keeping the grip tight as you go up the handle.Cut any excess off and use the seperate sticky small strip to stick it down at the top of the handle to stop it unravelling and finish with the plastic ring that should be on your handle.It does not matter if you get it wrong as the grip does not stick anymore so undo and try again.It doesn't matter what side you use,but preferablly the unpeeled side on the downside
