Question:

How to put photographs onto the Yahoo Group?

I am told that the photographs have to be in JPEG format to transfer to the Yahoo Group site.

Mine have been scanned using Corel photohouse. This seems to be the default function of my scanner. How do I now transfer the images to JPEG? I have transferred images in the past but recently I get the message "Unsupported Image Type".

For conversion of the images I guess you have to edit your scanner's saving options.

  2. on your scanner software settings, mine has choices as what to change the saved scan as, I can change that default, you may be able to as well instead of locating conversion software.

you need a file conversion software and alot of times, they're free. or know someone to e-mail it to who can convert it for you.

underneath the file, what does it say? sometimes when you scan there is a drop down box that gives you a choice of the type of file to make it before you save it. one choice may be JPEG. other wise you need to type the file name it save it as and search the web "PDF file convert to JPEG" <- example
