I would like to know what would be the best way to quit in my posistion (i wouldnt really like to tell my manager as he is not the best person to talk to)

  1. Never ever burn your bridges behind you. If you start being professional at your age by the time you are ready to enter the workforce in your chosen career, you will have learned to cope with all sorts of people. Your boss might be a very unpleasant man, but you have no idea the stress he's under. Put yourself in in shoes for a moment. Take your other job but tell them you must give notice at your present job. Tell them you are going to give him a week(normally you would give two weeks but this is a part time job) and then you can start with them. They will understand and respect you for being professional.

Write your boss a letter, thank him for the opportunity to work with him, but you have accepted a different position. Put the date that will be your last day, and again thank him for giving you a job. If you want you can put in that the new job fits your interests more, or your schedule more. Don't put things like its better working conditions or better pay, your present boss will be offended. Be sure to sign it.

You never know when you need a recommendation from someone. You might not have liked this guy, and it might have been a terrible job but he will remember you as a polite and mature young man, and you might need that some day.

  2. In writing, put, I am putting in my 2 weeks notice effective today.  (that  is all that is necessary) Do not talk negatively about any job you leave. You never know when you may need to come back.  Give them the courtesy of 2 weeks.  It will look great on your resume.

  3. just quit, don't even give your two weeks notice.

  4. just dont go there at all simple

  5. easy "I QUIT"

  6. Just tell him that you don't want to work for him.

  7. Aloha from Port Macquarie~

Sounds like an Australian issue with the word 'maccas'.  & only an Australian would need to be advised ~

    Skip out the back, Jack...

    Drop off the key, Lee

No need to be coy, Roy,

    jes git yerself free!

    Best wishes~

  8. I would just tell the manager I am sorry but this is not for me I feel this is just not what I was looking for and because I am unhappy here I know that if I stay it will affect my work attitude sorry but I quit this way you can leave on good terms and maybe get a reference out of it unless you feel you do not want them as a reference that is up to you though. I would not wait 2 weeks then you would just be wasting his time and the company's time. good luck

  9. put it in writing and walk away from it good luck

  10. who cares just be like

" i would like to quit this job i am moving out of this town or sumtin like that"

  11. yes

  12. the most effective way would be to just put in a two weeks notice

that way you could use them as a reference later on and they'd give you a good report. Also just in case the other job doesn't go

how you planned... you may even be able to take your other job back.

((always leave a job on good terms))

  13. If this is only your 2nd  day working their then tell your manager that the job isn't for you. He probably dosen't want you to waste his time/company money to work out a 2 week notice.
