How to quit a bad habit? I can't help myself leaving my bad habits

Hi. I have problem giving up my bad habits. For example, I promise myself not to eat any fast food (because I am a little bit fat), or to make my room tidy every now and then; but after some time I forgot my promise and began eating or.

Give me some useful instructions if you have any, and help me quit my bad habits gradually.

  1. geez...just think about consequences if you eat fast food. that pretty soon is not gonna be a little overweight. Besides, if you take care of urself u feel good about urself. Although im not saying to become a anoroxic, but just take care of urself in normal way.  


  2. Maybe you can write yourself a note and that way youll remember to clean your room.....as for the no eating fast food maybe you can have someone remind you every now and then

  3. find sometime for yourself, sit down and think. what is it you want more the pleasure of eating or the body of your dreams, does having a clean and tidy room satisfy you and make you feel better? apply this form of thought and find out what you truly want and how much you want it. this will help you sort your priorities and remember them before doing something you will regret
