How to "Pimp" a 2004 Nissan Xterra?

Alright, so I am getting an 04 Xterra tomorrow and was wondering some ways to make it cooler without going overboard. I am 16 and my parents say that I cannot lift it or put mudders on it. What are some ways that I could make it "more fun to drive"? I was thinking: subwoofers, rims, dvd system and navigation system?

So you cant afford to lift it and put mudders on it but your thinking of putting 22 inch rims on it which will cost at least $2500 to do. All of your money that you will be spending on the fancy electronic stuff could easily get your truck made for off roading. If anything save your money and go buy yourself a mustang gt or something.

how about focusing on graduating

but if thats not all that important *and cash isnt a problem*, go for a body kit, scratch the nav *its not as cool as before since alot of cars have'm stock*, and scratch the dvd *also stock alot now*, mabey a vinal and def some rimms *i would reccomend 22" for that type of car*

Remember anything you do to attract attention will result in some one breaking in to steal the DVD and Garman Navigation unit. Save your money keep it stock drive it every day. Putting on 20" special rims and high end stereo won't make you any more cool that you already are. Nissan has some cool waterproof seat covers and quality floor mats from Weather-Tech and Valeio aero wiper blades are good places to start. Keep it cleaned and washed. Remember it gets only 10 to 13 MPG racing around town and only 22 to 25 on the highway. So gasoline is what you will be spending money on. Xterria is top heavy so keep the wheels on the road.

come on its an xterra. why would it be pimp to put rims on that. do what you want on the inside but if you can see it from the outside its coming out eventually. i left the screen out on a brand new eclipse dvd unit at the movie theater (not to show it off but because its a habit since you just open it back up so you know what your listening to.) and some jerk off pried the targa top off my supra to get it. cost a fortune

Why, why, WHY!!!  Jesus christ, you have more money than brains don't you?  All the c**p you listed is going overboard.  If you want a car that is "pimp" as you put it, tell your mommy and daddy to buy you an Escalade.  It will have all that expensive c**p in it already so when it breaks later on, you can sit there and have a 60K paper weight in your driveway.  Just for example, navigation systems on cars cost about 9,000 dollars to replace if they go out.  Little fore warning for you.

You can't mod an Xterra without converting it to 4WD, getting big mudding tires, lifting it, etc. They are just too rugged to be done up any other way.
