How to "call forward" and back from land phone?

lost instructions for process of call forwarding....I know it is a simple thing, but nonetheless can't rememeber how...help

If you are in the U.S.A., try:

*72 (followed by the phone number) to activate call-forwarding

*73 to cancel.

These are the common codes, but there can be variations in some places.

If you are in the U.K., it's:

*21* (number) #  to activate

#21#  to cancel.

These are for unconditional forwarding in both cases.  There are different codes for forward-on-no-reply and forward-on-busy.
