  4. Dear Sir/madam,

we are a Not-for-Profit organization based in Manipur, India and we are working for the cause of Global warming and climate change. Recently we have started a campaign called Plant a Million Tree and we are getting good response from every section. We have in fact started our plantation

and at the same time, we have our plantation of Cymbopogon Citratus and we extract essential oil also thus creating lots of employment for the underprivileged section . we have our own product of Cymbopogon Citratus oil and Cymbopogon Citratus Tea and we give a free gift of 1 vial of oil

and 1 packet of tea to each and every volunteer every month. and in return, we take a small amount of donation or membership fee of INR 100 from every volunteer every month in order to achieve a successful plantation.

we would now like to expand our volunteer base at the same time we would like to raise funds in order to successfully implement our endeavor. we are now in search of good partner NGO or firm who can help us achieve our target. we can supply our product to our partner (1 packet of Tea and 1

vial of Oil) whereby the partner has to sell the product and raise fund. 55% of the fund shall be utilized in our campaign and 45% of the fund generated shall be kept by the partner firm as working capital.

our products are of superior quality and the oil is of the highest grade and the Tea is of superior quality where it is green and smells fresh lemon.

Uses of Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon Citratus)

Lemongrass is the source of Lemongrass oil, a good source of natural citral, which is used as a basic raw material for synthesis of ß-ionone used for synthesis of a number of useful aromatic compounds and ?-ionone for synthesis of Vitamin. Lemongrass oil is thus used as a main substitute

    for ‘Cod liver oil’.

It is widely used in perfumery industry for manufacture of various grades of Perfumes, Soaps, Detergents and Cosmetics.

Cymbopogon Citratus oil is known for its calming effect that relieves insomnia or stress and induces sleep. Cymbopogon Citratus oil is used locally over rheumatic joints, lumbago and sprains.

Cymbopogon Citratus oil mixed with twice its quantity of coconut oil is a stimulating ointment for rheumatism, lumbago, neuralgia, sprains etc. In chronic cases, the undiluted oil may be used for better result. Cymbopogon Citratus oil has got anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial

properties and hence is effective in treating athlete’s foot and other fungal infection. It is also considered as a mild insect repellent. Just soak cotton with Cymbopogon Citratus Oil and place it in the four corners of the cupboard and you won’t have any fungal infection in your clothes

and it will also smell fresh lemon. Add few drops of Cymbopogon Citratus oil into plain water and spray it to you room and it acts as a wonderful natural room freshner.

In 2006, a scientific research at the Ben Gurion University, Israel discovered citral (a substance in Cymbopogon Citratus) caused apoptosis in malignant cancer cells, meaning the cancer cells would kill off themselves ( a cell suicide). Citral not only caused cancer cells to kill themselves

on a Petri dish (shallow covered dish used for culture of bacteria etc.), it caused no harm to normal cells that were present. More amazingly, the quantity of citral used in this experiment was equivalent to one cup of tea cup of tea using 1 gram of Cymbopogon Citratus in hot water.

Cymbopogon Citratus tea can help with poor digestion, stomach aches, gas, bowel spasms, and diarrhoea. It is said to be a mild sedative and can calm nerves. Because it contains vitamin A, it can be helpful in keeping the eyes and skin healthy.

Cymbopogon Citratus tea, with pepper, can help relieve menstrual problems and nausea. It can promote perspiration and lower fever or cool the body in high temperatures. It also helps lower high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. A study done at the University of Wisconsin revealed

that some people taking prepared Cymbopogon Citratus Tea daily for three months experienced a significant reduction in cholesterol levels, and that their cholesterol levels returned to their previous highs when they stopped taking the preparation. Obviously, this indicates that Cymbopogon Citratus may help reduce cholesterol in certain individuals.

Cymbopogon Citratus tea has been an ancient remedy for curing chest congestion, colds and coughs. A well prepared Cymbopogon Citratus Tea is a very good remedy for a patient to get rid of common cold.

Interestingly, Cymbopogon Citratus Tea benefits in acne prevention and in dealing with other skin problems too. Studies have shown drinking Cymbopogon Citratus Tea on a regular basis, prevents the skin from developing any acne or pimples. This is true, as acne is a result of bacteria, and the anti-bacterial natural of the tea, helps the skin to look good and feel good. There is a plethora of Cymbopogon Citratus Tea uses. This folk medicine has to have some truth, since it’s been used for so many years. To make a start, combat the cold, with a cup of Cymbopogon Citratus Tea.

Use Cymbopogon Citratus Tea in moderation as excessive use is likely to create other complications.

Cymbopogon Citratus essential oil may irritate sensitive skin and for this reason should be used with care during pregnancy.

    Awaiting for your favourable feedback.
