How to raise dorm beds?

my dorm room is provided a bunk bed. my roomate and i are going to debunk them. i want to raise my bed at least 5 ft. how do you rise the bed?

Either get a loft kit, or buy lots of cinder blocks

Try flipping the frame over. Usually the length along the posts from the bottom to where the mattress sets is shorter than it is from the top to where the mattress sets.

Bed Bath and Beyond has "bed raisers"  that fit on the bottom of the bed, in numerous sizes.
