Question:

How to raise money for a good cause?

I just came back from a experience of a lifetime; I toured Israel for a month with other teens. This journey gave me the inspiration to want to open a foundation to financially help other teens go to Israel, victims of terrorist attacks and their families, and more. I really really want to open this foundation but I do not know where to start.

Thank you.

  1. There is a foundation for everything nowdays.  Do a bit of searching and find one with the same mission as you and donate your money and time to it.  People do better when they team up.

  2. I felt similar after had a serious car crash and wanted to start charity for helicopter ambulance and hospital. But best way is there is already probably a charity - so use web to find it and join them - I did this, saved on admin and raised £10k. Avoid sponsorship going on treks etc as everyone does that. I found bands & DJs who will play music free and have party and raffles its amazing how much more ££££ you get if you involve people to share rather than just give ££ away - its also raises awareness so they start there own fundraising and its snowballs. It's a shame but there are too many charities who cut across each other. 10000s for cancer so how much goes on admin, why not just one or say 10 charity for them - whay so many? Good luck in your venture.

  3. why do  u not print it out on ur printer,

u could  put in for raising funds to help our troops

suggest how about a bike ride, walk , run , and get a load of friends

to help you do it, or even better put up a notice in ur club, pub, and see

who is interested to help out.

    you never know?

there are some good people out there ,

who would  do it i am sure.

    make it out to;

    ALL OUR TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN,

or even collect  supplies , which they are short of .

such as  soap, shower gel, shampoo, shaving gel /foam

razors  , flannels , hand creams , toothpaste, toothbrushes,

toilet paper, that's hard to come by,

simple everyday things, that we all take for granted,

and take it too your nearest  ROYAL BRITISH LEGION AND

THEY WILL GET IN TOUCH  WITH SOME-ONE ON YOUR

    BEHALF.

    HOW  ABOUT  THAT ,

MY HUSBAND AND I ARE MEMBERS OF THE RBL ,

SO WE KNOW THAT THEY WOULD BE ONLY TO GRATEFUL

FOR ANY OF THE THINGS, THEY ARE GIVEN .

COLLECT  IT IN A BOX AND TAKE IT DOWN THERE,

YOU WIL RECIEVE MORE THAN THANKS ,

FOR DOING IT . I CAN ASSURE YOU.

LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE GOT NO IDEA THAT THEY ARE

    SHORT OF SUPPLYS OUT THERE.

    JUST AN IDEA,

    GOOD LUCK WITH IT ,
