ok well i found this orginization called R.A.N. and they try to help save the enivornment including the rain forrests. and thats my biggest concern.

I was wondering if i should sell t-shirts. The t-shirts will say something about the rain forrests are anything green. it would be 10 dollars and then 5 will go to the store and 5 will go to the donation. would that be a good idea or no??

  1. Good idea...

Just find a good area where people will see the shirts...

  2. Well if you sell t-shirts, that's great! But the t-shirts you buy should be organic, or made from recycled materials. OR else it just defeats the purpose of promoting a organization that helps the environment. So just keep that in mind!

But otherwise, it's a fantastic idea! Everyone loves t-shirts, and I know I like knowing my money is going somewhere good, instead of just into the pockets of some company or person.

  3. Yes, it would help if you could keep the cost down and have a really good design. Also, sell them at an event or festival where there are thousands of people. If you sell them through a store, it may be a slow process.

  4. I think you should do what aj said. That's what everyone else is doing, and it's sure working for them...hey YOU bought into it, didn't you?!

    arrrggghhhhhhhh

  5. Fear. Scare people into thinking the world will end if they don't do something, obviously, doing something means giving you money. It has worked very well up until this point. Don't worry about telling a lie or fabricating truths, the more lies that seem truthful the better. Use them to instill more fear. The more fear the more willingly they will give you money.

Also, make people feel bad if they don't give you money. Make them feel like they don't care about the environment. Better yet, equate it to leaving their kid in a hot car for hours or in this case, tell them that they wouldn't put a bag over their kids head and deprive them of oxygen, so why remove oxygen producing trees in the rain forrests which will suffocate our planet. Take some notes from one of the most prominent environmental fear mongers alive today, Ms. Boxer from CA, link below.

  6. Sure, but you'll need to market them something fierce if you want to succeed.
