  1. run long distances, and when you've had enough......keep on running


  2. once a week, run long slow distance.  If your longest run now is twenty minutes, add five minutes per week until you're running over an hour slowly.

  3. My cousin runs cross country and he's reeeeeeally good. He says to be a better runner, you need to do hill workouts. Basically, you run uphill as fast and long as possible. It takes a while to get better, but just keep working at it. Also, try treading workouts in a pool. They consist of keeping afloat by using you legs only for about 10-15 minutes. Good luck!
