How to re-adjust to public school?

Question

I am returning back to public school for my senior year, after a year at boarding school. I went to public school for my first two years. I am going to different public school this year because my old public school was less than exceptional and as a result, I was not stimulated enough and always getting in trouble. My new school is a magnet school for the extremely gifted. How can I re-adjust after being at boarding school?

Magnet schools have a bunch a dorks in them...just don't say mean things they might go weird on you.

Since the expectation at a magnet school is to attract the gifted then you should find adapting to this type of school somewhat easy.you have said you weren't stimulate or challenged b the public school system and therefore you may find it  an easier transition than you would think.From what I understand students must be accepted to these schools and based on that I would assume you are academically advanced.As with anything in life, you get as much out of something as you are willing to put into it.Treat people with the same respect you expect.The fact the students at these schools have academic goals should make it easier to make friends .Just be yourself and in time you will make new friends just like you did at boarding school. Adapting to change is all a part of life.Take care.

I think if you have already gone to public schools before then it won't be as hard as you think it will be to readjust. Just know that public schools are not as proper or stuff like that as boarding schools are. Most people don't say  Good Day they say Get outta my way...and stuff like that

But public schools are not that bad...its just the little buttholes that go there and can't keep their mouths shut that make it unbearable sometimes.
