How to re-insert touchpad cable into the connector...

Question

Hi,I need advice on inserting the cable back in the connector on the motherboard.Reason it is a thin cable and I tried to push in in the connector but unable to.Question do I need special tool to do it?The reason I removed it is because I replaced a new powerboard and needed access to it.I will try and get an image so you can see what I mean.Your help is very much appreciate.ThanksJunior
