Coimbatore is 90 km from ooty.

There are flights operating between New Delhi & Coimbatore.

There are also trains between Delhi & Coimbatore(Visit indiarail.gov.in website for train timings).

After reaching Coimbatore, You can reach Mettupalayam( 40 km from Coimbatore) by bus/taxi/train.

After reaching Mettupalayam you can catch the Nilgiri Mountain train (Journey time from Mettupalayam to Ooty in hill train is 5 hrs approx. )

take flight to coimbatore. from there you can take a taxi to ooty. will take around 3 hrs. if you wanna go by toy train, take a taxi or bus upto mettupalayam. from there the toy train starts to ooty
