How to reach Palakkad via Nilambur from Bangalore?

I have been driving through Bangalore-Hosur-Krishnagiri-Dharmapuri-M... route (420Km)since two years. Of late I heard from somebody that Nilambur sector will be good for site seeing and a lot shorter in distance. Planning to leave on May 1 in my Santro XL ERLX 2005 model. vechile is in good condition.
