How to reach bhubaneswar from kolkata? r there any private or Govt travels from kolkata? how long the journey will be? can anyone help me plz..

Driving on National Hwy no. 5 (as far as I know). Sure there are buses. See any travel agent. Might take 12 hours. Perhaps 10. Why not go by rail? The 'Jan Shatabdi' train leaves Howrah around 1pm. It is the fastest and most comfortable. About 7 hours. Other trains take 8, 9 or 10.

Especially today and for a few days ahead there are lots of extra trains from Kolkata because of Rathyatra in Puri.

rail is the best way to reach bhubaneshwar from kolkata. but if ur journey date is before the 10th of july, u dont have any option, coz all trains are cancelled due to floods at balasore. so u have to opt for roadways. and from my past bus travel experience, i can tell that "west bengal surface transport corporation" buses are the best, some of them are "volvo" buses.. it leaves from bau bazar( new wire bridge) from kolkata.
