  1. I think Rillifane meant métro 14, not 6. Otherwise his suggestion is definitely the fastest: métro 14 to Chatelet + RER B to CDG. I would avoid road travel, too unpredictable. It may be a little quieter in August but normally that highway is always congested in the morning so I wouldn't even consider a cab or any other form of road transportation.

On weekdays the métro leaves every minute to every 2 minutes and RER B every 6 minutes so if you take the métro by 9:24 at the latest you'll be able to catch the 10:32 RER and arrive at CDG 1 at 10:03. With a métro between 9:26 and 9:29 you'd be taking the 9:38 RER arriving at CDG at 10:14.

So technically if it's an international flight you'll arrive only one hour before departure instead of the 2 hours normally required... Check with your airline what the check-in deadline is. For Air France it is 60 minutes for non-EU countries.

Also I hope you are not traveling on 8/16 or 8/17 because traffic is interrupted on RER B (as well as RER D) those two days. A shuttte bus will take over as far as Gare du Nord but it would be slower.

  2. Take metro line 6 (Direction : Saint-Lazare) to Chatelet and transfer to the  RER B to the airport.

Make sure to get a ticket for zone 5.

The trip will take at least 45 minutes.

I fear you may have cut the time too fine since you are supposed to arrive at the airport 2 hours before flight time which is obviously impossible even if you did take a cab.
