How to reach high note/rate singing?

i have a low voice and i would like to reach the high notes in the chorus of this song:

how can i practice to reach that high of singing

also how can i improve on my singing in general and what do you think of this:

OMG...You can really sing!!  You have lots of talent vocally:)

I say just work on expanding your range with a piano each day and youll eventually get there.  Never try to force or push to a note you dont have or have not developed.  Just stay in songs that have your present range and work slowly up to higher ranges.
