Well u get down at Chennai central. Take a bus to Marina beach or take a ric. Ric would be faster. The beach is about 5-7 minutes from the Station. Ric guy wud take 40-50 bucks to drop u thr

its within walking distance , but a long walk, so not advisable, taxi is better. its to your left as you come out of the railway station, then right. you will love the beach, all the days catch of fish, being cooked in front of you, loads of stalls selling their wares. loads of stuff to buy.. i loved it
