from mahabaleshwargo to pune. from pune you will find plenty of buses for shirdi. you can book the same at swargate in pune.

Best way would be to come to Pune (120 km from Mahabaleshwar). Regular State Transport and private buses ply between Mahabaleshwar and Pune. Private taxis also are also available.

From Pune, you can hire bus (AC/non-AC) (Private/State Transport) or Taxi to Shirdi which are available in plenty. Also there are several trains to Kopargaon (Kopargaon is just 18 Km from Shirdi):

7305 (NZM LINK EXP), 2779 (GOA EXPRESS), 2129 (AZAD HIND EXP), 1601 (PUNE MMR PASS), 1333 (SHIRDI FAST PASS), 1321 (PUNE NZB PASS), 1077 (JHELUM EXPRESS), 1039 (MAHARASHTRA EXP).

Now, if you are planning on driving then following is the detailed route. Distance is about 310 Km.

Drive to towards Panchgani and Wai and turn left on NH4 (Pune-Bangalore Highway) and reach Pune.

From Pune, take left on Mumbai-Pune road (NH4) after Sancheti flyover towards Pimpri. Pass through Kirkee and Dapoli and turn right on NH-50 (Nasik Highway) and go about 130 km until you reach Sangamner.

From Sangamner, turn right towards Shrirampur and go about 35Km until Lohagaon via Nimbgaon jali and Loni Kh.

Then turn left towards Shirdi via Rahta Pimplas.
