    An underdog is always displayed with a number higher than 2.00. For example, a 3.00 is equal to a +200 money line, or 2/1 fractional odds.

    Favorites have numbers lower than 2.00. So, a 1.60 would pay out $.60 for every $1 wagered. If you bet $100 on a team with 1.60 odds, you’d get a total return of $160.
