I’m having problems with reading the football betting lines. Someone please explain me that why minus and plus sign be used with the name of teams

  1. The favorite team to win will have minus sign, and the loser will have a plus sign. It basically means that if you bet the negative money line you will win more than your betting money. If you bet the positive money line you will win not as much of your bet. The number at the end of the column shows how much you would have to bet to win.
