Question:

How to readjust a computer/office chair's height?

It seems like a rather simple question to ask, but this chair is different from others. It has 3 lever things (I don't know what to call them.) One is to make the chair be able to lean back, another is there for no apparent reason. The last one is the one I have a problem with. I accidentally held it up and the height went down, and it wont go back up. So if know what happened could you please help me.

  1. The adjustment lever may have come out of place and so is not operating the pneumatic lift or maybe putting constant pressure on the gas lift's release mechanism.

Take a look under the chair and see if the lever appears to have become dislodged or jammed and try and push it back into place.

If you work in an office where others use the same model of chair, take a look at it, compare the 2 chairs for any differences it may well help sort out what is wrong.

That other lever is probably for locking the chair back in a fixed position.

  2. I'm just guessing that you might have a chair that might have this thing right under the seat that might be rounded !?! If so... You'll have to turn that round thing to a certain loosness while at the sametime pulling or pushing the seat upward!?!.If this is so... You should be able to find a way to do this !?! Just take your time !! Or you might want to ask someone to hold this while you turn that/adjusting the height!?!g/l!!! r R r

  3. Lift the lever with your butt off the seat and it will raise, apply pressure to the seat with lever pulled to lower
