If you have an online store (that you owned like eBay) how do receive commission/payments of the sales you make? Would you have to use a Gateway program or another type of program?

  1. if they are your own products, you just keep all the profit - you might be thinking of affiliate programs like amazon.com - if you put a link to a book on your website and a erson clicks on the link and buys the book from amazon, you get a 55 commission or something - you have to sign up with them as an affiliate and get an ID number so they know when you refer buyers to them - don;t expect to make much money thru affiliates anymore - everyone already knows to go straight to Amazon and the other major e-commerce companies

  2. Im not to fimiliar with email but as far as i understand it would be the same as a retail store in a mall whatever you see you would get a certain percentage on the cost minus the shiping and packing fees.

    Hope that was somewhat helpful.

  3. You could use a gateway online program like Pay-Pal as in Ebay. The credit card payments go to your account minus a pay-pal processing fee. Basically you need a merchant banking service to use credit cards and echeck payments. Yahoo stores also is a service available Single or multi-page checkout
