How to record a condenser mic in stereo?

Question

Hi guys, I was wondering if theres a way to record in stereo. I record with a Perception 120 condenser mic with Garageband but it only records in mono and it sounds lame. So if anyone knows how to convert mono vocals to stereo, please let me know!!

You cannot convert a mono signal to true stereo.  True stereo recordings involve two microphone "offset" (a two places in the room) from one another.  There are lots of stereo effects built into Garage Band that can be applied to any sound.  You might try those.

To truly record in stereo you need at least two mics
