How to record xbox 360 game play to my pc

I have been looking for a while now and i have been wondering how do i record my xbox 360 gameplay to my pc i am using a normal tv (not hd or plasma) and i want to record some gears of war footage.

what software should i buy and does it need any extras? also some hints on installing it would be much appreciated

all i know is that you need a capture card

You Need A Capture card which is $100 or higher i think
