Here's a tricky one. Accidentally dropped my gps through the curb opening side of the storm strain outside of my house. opening the drain cover seems impossible (or is it) the only access is the curbside gap (not the kind with the grate), what instrument(s) can I use to fish (stick, grab etc.) it out?

  1. Get a big 0l' prybar.  remove the grate.  Hop in.  Have fun...

  2. If your neighborhood is old, you may be able to find where it drains to. If the skies are clear you can then walk up the tunnel with all the rats snakes and homeless people. Otherwise, I would use a big ole prybar to get the top off, it will come off or use a coat hanger to try to hook the gps, if it has something to hook. Can you see the unit?

  3. A stiff cable .Tie a piece of cloth to it , and put something sticky to it, like liquid nails or chewing gum,or  tar .
