By supporting our troops, their mission, and letting them accomplish what they were sent there to do.

THis whole conflict is bigger than Iraq. Surely you cannot advocate what al-Qaeda and the muslim extremists are doing. It is their bombings and attacks that are causing the deaths - not US troops.

We are doing the right thing by confronting these evil and deranged fanatics. This is a much bigger threat than the spread of communism in Vietnam. We are suffering much less casualties than in Vietnam and are accomplishing quite a bit more.

These demented thugs need to be confronted, hunted down, and elminiated for the good of the civilzed world.

I'm disgusted by all of you ignorant fools who cannot see what the world is being confronted with.

The very same people who want us out of Iraq are crying about atrocities in Darfur and around the wolrd - but you just know if we go there to do something about those situations the same people will be the ones who are crying for us to get out because one of our troops got a sliver in his butt while taking a dump in a latrine.

First step. We pull out and declare iraq in a state of civil war. Then we do what we should have done at the beginning and send UN peacekeepers in until there is stability in Iraq. In order to promote stability in iraq we need  to give them back their oil, they will need the oil as wealth and stability go hand in hand. Another problem is working out how the iraqi goverment should work, the iraqis should probably implement a three autonomous state system in which the kurds, shiites and sunni muslims are all represented fairly and look after themselves in regards to custom, morality laws and whatnot but share in the economic wealth collectively as resources are not equally located in kurd, shiite and sunni areas.

Either we do that or we train up yet another ruthless dictator and hope they don't go rogue again.  But i wouldn't advise this as it rarely works and never works for long even if it does.

redeploy our troops to seal off the Kurds and the borders. allow the rest of the factions to duke it out to the end. then spend the 12 billion dollars a day to rebuild the country for 30 days. after that protect the Kurds and redeploy to Afghanistan and Pakistan and get the s.o.b. who first attacked us.

  in reality :

we should have never been there from the beginning, our problem is that our nation is run by big business's and no heart. poor countries that have nothing to offer big business pose a greater risk of growing more radicals that hate us than did Iraq under Saddam Hussein. this admin. actions have caused the deaths of more people than would have occurred under his admin. , and has now helped create and train more radicals.

to redeem this situation we need to first redeem ourselves by eliminating the arrogance of our own government and return to the "walk softly , but carry a big stick " helpful nation we all picture ourselves to be. open government and open hearts coupled with focused ***-kicking upon provocation will go a long way. step one, stop George bush and d**k Cheney.
