How to redirect my domain to an IP address?

I currently own a domain with www. rocmed.com and I'm going to redirect it to an IP address 218.106.165.168. This IP is where I put my website and can also be seen at www.rocmed.com.cn. However, when I direct my domain to this IP, it automaticly directed to http://218.106.165.168 which is the mail homepage of my ISP. Now I have no choice but to direct rocmed.com to rocmed.com.cn to show my webpage correctly. Can anybody help me to find out how to resolve it? Thank you!

Why do you want to point it to an IP when you already have URL(http://rocmed.com.cn ).

do domain forwarding from :

rocmed.com to http://rocmed.com.cn

You will need to contact your domain registrar to ressolve this issues.

In general,

* A web site might need to change its domain name.

* An author might move his or her pages to a new domain.

* Two web sites might merge.

With URL redirects, incoming links to an outdated URL can be sent to the correct location. These links might be from other sites that have not realized that there is a change or from bookmarks/favorites that users have saved in their browsers.
