Question:

How to reduce pain on tongue?

I was chewing gum about 5 days ago and bit my tongue pretty hard. At first, I thought I bit off my tongue, but there was no blood. It was fine up until two days ago; my mouth is now constantly dry no matter how much water I drink and I have an irritating pain on my tongue. The location of the pain is small so I can still eat, but it bothers me. Is there anything I can do to reduce or eliminate the pain, how long until it heals, and if I did bite off a bit of my tongue, will it grow back?

  1. Spit your d**n gum out.

  2. Gargle and rinse with salt water, your tongue will be fine.  Unless you got dracula fangs or saber teeth.

Ozzy was famous for his tongue and it is split straight down the middle.  Seems odd, but worked for him.
