How to reduce stickiness of thermoplastic starch?

Currently I try to produce thermoplastic starch (TPS) using cassava starch and glycerol via melt processing technique. However the surface of TPS quite sticky. Any suggestion to reduce it stickiness? Thanks!

  1. If you increase the % of glycerol, it may reduce stickiness.

    Please refer following link for detailed study.

    0, 15, 30 and 45g glycerol/100g starch

    those with 0 or 15% of glycerol due to a ‘sticky’. character
